The Helmsman has four quick-access cargo pockets and two zippered pockets on the outside of the bag. Inside the main compartment, there is a separate zippered padded laptop sleeve. The Helmsman is constructed with HT500 outer fabric and a urethane coated nylon ripstop liner.
Multiple carry options include: hide-away grab handles, a removable-quick adjust shoulder strap and for times when the load is heavy, an optional backpack harness that can be ordered separately. In addition, the bag securely attaches to a front porteur style bicycle rack.
